I am incredibly proud to be the Conservative candidate for Holme Valley South at the local elections on Thursday, 5th May 2022.
I was born in Huddersfield and have lived in Scholes for over 25 years.
My family has also lived locally for generations. So the issues that concern residents - concern me too. Your priorities are my priorities.
I am determined to represent your concerns and champion the issues that matter to you. If elected, I look forward to working with our local MP and residents to implement our six-point plan for our ward.
At this election, we have an opportunity to stop Labour from remaining in control of Kirklees Council and instead focus on the issues that matter, such as:
- Keeping your council tax low
- Protecting our precious green spaces
- Ensuring your bins are emptied and potholes filled
A vote for any other party means no change, and Labour is still in control.
Meaning, further year-on-year Council Tax hikes with no improvements in our area’s services. Again, we will all be paying more for less.
In these uncertain times with financial hardships and turmoil throughout the world, strong representation with a traditional community focus is what the Holme Valley deserves
So, let’s win this election and get on with our priorities - Keeping council tax low, protecting our precious green spaces, more money for our roads and fixing Labour’s tip operations.
